When It Is Worth It

• You have a list of ideas and the build itch.
• You have shipped something to no users before.
• You are about to start a multi-month build.

When It Is Not

• A customer prepaid for a v0.
• You have inbound demand and warm distribution.
• You are filtering as procrastination.

The Honest Verdict

Fifteen minutes for a decision worth months of build. Yes if you would otherwise ship the most interesting idea. No if you are using it to delay.

If you finish filtering and ship a landing page that day, it was worth it. If you start a second filter, it was not.
