- Is the pain weekly?
Run It on Five Candidates
Three yeses or three nos. That is your ranking. The candidate with three yeses wins. If two have three yeses, run ten interviews and pick the one with stronger signal.
What You Are Skipping
Decision speed, differentiation, crowding. They matter, but the three above filter most bad picks. You can layer them later if needed.
When the Simple Version Fails
If two candidates tie at three yeses and the interviews are inconclusive, add decision speed as the tiebreaker. Faster wins.
